What happened to Blue Taboo?

So there haven't been any updates for a while. Here's what all happened.

I had this idea for an awesome art site. We got a ton of people psyched about it. Then oops, when it came time to code the thing, coders either got 80hr/week jobs or didn't do anything. There were several folks who joined up, offered their coding skills, then were never heard from again.

The long and short of it is the last year or so has been delays and inaction, and ultimately loss of interest.

But wait! Seems another coder named Eevee was working on another project called floof. floof turns out to have an almost identical feature set and philosophy as far as art sites go. floof was also stalled out.

Well Eevee and I got to talking, and decided to merge both projects, and revive floof. Several new coders joined in. We decided not to hype anything till we had something to show for it. What we have now is a base. Its nowhere near done but it's much closer than BT was.

As of this weekend, we've started up a closed alpha. Once the site is at feature parity with other established sites, we'll open for a beta. The site at least for now (we're probably stuck with this name) will be floof.us.

If you want to check out the progress, or maybe lend a hand (there's plenty of coding left to do!) check out http://floof.us/.
